As a dedicated dietitian and early childhood educator, I am thrilled to present a unique preschool incursion designed to ignite a love and confidence in eating for children. The Food Explorer Sessions are a captivating adventure where children embrace a vibrant world of nourishing foods. Through engaging activities, hands-on cooking experiences, and interactive games, children can foster a lifelong positive relationship with all foods.
I endeavour to create a safe and welcoming space, to ensure each child feels comfortable to try new tastes and textures, develop essential kitchen skills and learn the importance of listening to their internal hunger cues. Join me on this delightful voyage as we explore food and create the foundation of healthy food habits.

This session encourages group collaboration amongst peers, choosing different fruits and vegetables to blend to create a colourful drink and supports children to explore shape, colour, textures and flavours.

A Matchy matchy challenge with fruits, vegetables and colours. This session explores sorting and categorising of food and colours, and challenges fine motor skills with toothpicks, tongs and threading pieces of food onto a lollipop stick.
